What’s the difference between loose leaf tea and bagged tea?
The ingredients in loose leaf tea are generally higher quality, and contain rich antioxidants, which provide health benefits. Loose leaf teas have immense diversity, as green, white, oolong, black and herbal teas all have their own eccentricities in flavor, strength and body to make them unique. There are also combinations of different loose leaf teas that blend very well together, creating interesting and delicious flavors. Traditional bagged teas are made from smaller pieces of the tea leaves, rather than the whole leaf, and typically come from the same plant, except in the case of herbals blends.
